Behavior Analysis and the Arts
By Abigail Calkin
This past year has been slow because we have not had in-person meetings and getting responses through our Facebook page is slow to nonexistent. The May 2020 virtual attendance at the meeting was 1, in addition to the SIG chair. Hopefully, more will attend this year and we can get started on some real planning for a future convention evening performance event.
Ruth Anne Redfeldt has published her article “The Beethoven Revolution: A Case Study in Selection by Consequence.” It is available at https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40614-020-00271-x.
Planning for the 2022 evening event will include visual arts, music, literature, and possibly performing arts. All will have past paid shows, books, or performances. We will have a PA system for the room, but do not plan to rent a piano due to expenses.
