HKABA Chapter Reorganizes and Charts a Path Forward

Introduction
The Hong Kong Association for Behavior Analysis (HKABA) has faced challenges during the pandemic years of COVID-19, leading to a period of inactivity. However, the chapter has recently taken significant steps towards reorganizing and revitalizing itself. A dedicated group of about 10 professionals, consisting of Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) and BCBA-Doctoral (BCBA-D) practitioners, has reconvened to discuss the future directions and activities of HKABA. This article provides a summary of the recent developments within the chapter, including the resignation of the past president, ongoing efforts to fill various roles, and the formulation of a development plan for 2024.

Inactive Years During the Pandemic
Like many organizations worldwide, HKABA faced disruptions and challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.
