North Dakota ABA – 2025 Chapter Update

The North Dakota Association for Behavior Analysis (ND ABA) is currently made up of 107 full members, 10 affiliate members, and 26 student members.
ND ABA celebrated World Behavior Analysis Day the week of March 14-20, 2025. A couple board members met with a local television station to promote ABA in ND and was aired in March 2025.
At our 2024 conference, we began honoring a person who has contributed to ABA in North Dakota based upon dissemination, research, teaching or the practice of ABA within the state. Dr. Paul Kolstoe was honored in 2024 for the dissemination and practice of ABA within North Dakota.
Our 2025 Annual Conference was held in Fargo, ND on April 28 – 29, 2025. Our invited presenters included Dr. Sara Kupzyk, who led a workshop titled Promoting Cooperation with Medical and Dental Procedures, and Dr. Patricia Wright, who presented on Social Determinants of Health and Applied Behavior Analysis: Leveraging the Connection to Make the World a Better Place. A total of 12 continuing education units were made available for the workshop and conference.
Our Executive Board is made up of Cristine Deaver as President, Jackie Loepp as Vice President, Alee Smith as Secretary, Suzanne Carroll as Treasurer, and Dr. Alyssa Suess, Dr. Jordan Lill, and one empty Members-at-Large position. The 2025 elections were held for four board positions including the President, Treasure, and two Member-at-Large positions.
Our committee chairs for the Conference Planning Committee include Cristine Deaver, Jackie Loepp, Allison (Alee) Smith, Dr. Jordan Lill and Suzanne Carroll and our Legislative Workgroup includes Cristine Deaver and Dr. Jordan Lill.
